Call it rose colored glasses, call it blind optimism, or call it a burning need to see some kind of light at the end of the tunnel. Not sure what it is, but this morning on NPR I heard two good economy stories in a row and then at lunch I read this piece in the HBR Voices titled “What Are CEOs and Managers Talking about Now?” indicating that CEO topics are turning somehow more positive. While I think “business as usual” has fundamentally changed, a shiny spot now and then is a nice thing. Enjoy the break, and then brace for more.
